About Barbara and Distraction Diet

Barbara
Barbara Luther is a Master Certified Coach who has specialized in working with clients who experience the traits of attention deficit disorder (ADHD). She has been a woman of size her entire adult life, trying all sorts of diets and always ending up larger and feeling hopelessly out of control and frustrated that she couldn’t get her weight managed when she was so successful in other areas of her life.
In 2008, she embarked on a personal journey to learn about herself and how to manage her weight. She is still learning and working to reach her goal. However, she did learn how to drop two pounds a week in a healthy, steady manner and sustain that effort easily. She came to realize that her coach experience and her knowledge of the brain gained by studying ADHD have given her the tools to be successful now. For the first time in her life, she has found and understands the factors that have eluded so many creative, successful people around their weight.
Barbara designed the Distraction Diet Program to bring together what she has learned and coaching support to help women and men learn successful and sustainable weight management in a fun environment.
